Affix tiers suggestion

In my opinion POE1 affix tiers numbering was great.

As it is right now, I'm sure 100% of players who assess gear would say that it is impossible to determine:
1) if the affix tier is the best for the item;
2) how far from the top tier is the affix.

And I hope we can agree that it is vital to know this information, and understand it quickly while you pressing Alt.

[by the way Alt is bugged, it's locking on the first item if you hover over several (unless you press Alt on an empty space and then hover over items) - sorry for the offtop, could not omit the opportunity to mention it]

BUT IF your designer guys want to die on the reverse tiers hill, may I suggest you a solution:
- Show total number of tiers for the affix after "/", e.g. "T3/7"

It would be ideal to go back to POE1 system, and if you are concerned with confusing new players, put a tooltip, for example on the tier number, that says something like "T1 is the best".

yeah the current system is unintuitive and makes quickly appraising an item difficult.

I knew they changed it bc the ux guy said it was confusing that the other tiers ascend. must've gotten him from Blizzard (sorry, low blow).

I guess I could understand if it's arduous for the designers to manually reinput the tiers for every mod every time they added a top one, but to that I say: don't be lazy, that information was useful to the extent that items may as well no longer have tiers and just show their intensities. that's what we lost.
