Willow map almost made me vomit today
Grey ground with gray trees and gray grass, gray monsters and gray delirium fog.
Grey is the new red for PoE 2 i guees?
map with 5 'things'?
Most of the time the only reason why I knew there is a monter in front of me was because character would not move forvard cause path is blocked. And I found delirrium mirror only when map was almost done, so most of time it was not even because of Fog. Fog just made it like 5 times worse. Random changes of terrain height and bushes/trees blocking line of sight and pathing is just a worst combination for visual clarity and my own sanity. I really dont know what can make this map better. The only way is to pray god of random to not proc juice on it and for this map not being the only way to progress atlas. I had better expirience earlier today in PoE 1 farming 8 mod Glacier maps with full party of six players with juiced abyss and Eater's influence, than in game that was made to fix "visual clutter" of PoE 1. Because in PoE 1 I at least could just hold Cyclone from start to end and move by overlay map not even bothering to think what are monsters and mods on them. Dont get me wrong, I like that in PoE 2 monster can fight back at least sometimes and monster/map mods actually matter (in PoE 1 it was possible only in deep Delve), but something really should be done to visuals and terrain generation in Willow. P.S. I understand that my whole message is messed up a lot, but look it's almost 3:00 here and I really want to sleep, but more that sleep I wanter to pour out one's soul.
