Ascention trials

I decided to make my first build be a thorns build. Killing monsters by getting hit and regenerating up after. Guess what I will never be able to complete. I've stopped playing PoE2 due to this. After having run into it. I watched some streamers. The second ascention trial is the ultimatum mechanic. In PoE this was my second most hated league to play. I ignored the mechanic during it and avoid it on the map tree due to how much it is geared to only certain builds being able to do.

I don't understand why you are forcing player to do things that are not possible with any build to play the game. It's like you don't want players to play the game. Let me know how well that business model works out for you.

Back to PoE 1. The one that's not a train wreck.

I think you should have tried something more mainstream as far as builds. I think they're purposely making the player run harder content and adapt. But you can respec at any time.

It's a different game with a different balance and if you want to take massive damage probably requires an energy shield build.

I agree that the trials are too difficult but they can be done at least the ones in normal difficulty. The cruel ones are torture but that's made up by the fact that many ascendancy skills are kinda weak anyway.
