lvl 21 Corrupted Spark gem reduces damage

Hi guys,

Current bug I have a level 20 uncorrupted spark gem (5sockets) in currently which brings my spark level up to 30 overall. At the moment this is 159k sheet dps.

I upgraded to a 21 corrupted version which results in a lvl 31 overall and 178k sheet dps.

HOWEVER the bug part is as soon as i press any other ability that is not spark it will disappear from the skills page for a second and then return with a significantly lower dps, now 118k. the spark level still shows lvl 31 overall.






Just for added info the spark links I use are:
arcane Tempo
considered casting
inspiration
controlled destruction
shocking siphon

Other skills im using are:
sigil of power (weapon swap staff)
orb of storms
blink
soul offering
archmage
grim feast
conductivity
flame wall
skeletal cleric

Last thing of note is that swapping back and forth between gems seems to have kept the lvl 21 corrupted gem to maintains the lower sheet number, persists through logout and closing the game. Not sure what resets it as it had reset to test it again and take screenshots after a couple of hours being logged off.
