I love the game, you did an amazing job.
But I feel like you are a little out of thouch with the playerbase when it comes to punishment for death.
It is much too high.

Today, i wanted to try out something new for my build.
So instead of following a META guide, I tried something myself.
My char is level 93, so it takes a long time to level even wirthout losing 10% every time you die.

I had reasched around 50% over the last few days, with dying even.
And today I got back to 0%
because i wanted to expiriment and try my own thing.
In the end, i made it work. But at the cost of several days of progress.

I'm where I was 5 days ago.
This is not a workable model, it forces players into broken META builds, stop them from trying out things and i overal a terrible experience.

Again, I LOVE your game.
I want to want to keep playing, but this is getting too much for me.

If i play several days, and I lose it all in 1 hour of experimenting.
I feel like this game does not respect my time.
If feels horrible to have a few hours here and there and then lose all progress I made.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, stop taking away EXP on death.

FYI a few levels even getting 7 levels isn't going to make your build significantly better, you should be trying to figure out why you are dying and if it is something you can build around/out gear or if there is some sort of bug (EA is a beta test)

games do not respect time at all in general, stop rolling insane map mods, build defensively and learn what mobs are doing
in general you only take risks after you levelled up. that's a intentional game mechanic and not difficult to figure out
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

All of your ´´points´´ are a joke.
It´s a horrible mechanic that punishes you for trying out anything or trying to beat a higher difficulty boss.

Just get gut is a joke of an argument.
I´m doing perfectly fine, clear T18 maps and bosses without too much trouble.

The point here is, that this punishment stop people from trying new things, stops people from learning bosses because the price of trying and dying is too high, makes people go to the META OP builds and is all together not respecting the players time.

EXP is hard to come by as is, taking away hours of time because someone dies once or twice is just a horrible way to make the game difficult.

I love a difficult game, i love a challange.
What I dont love, is being punished this hard for failure.
It is a shit mechanic that only pushes people into copying a build and not taking risks.
The death penwtly is bad.

I was watching a guy play warrior lvl 99 and he died to invisible effects and lost 3-4 days of gameplay for one death. Like je died to a bug and lost like 40 hours of just insane fast mapping.

That is not okay.

A casual andy would lose weeks if not a month of progress at lvl 99.

Also can we all stop pretending that not having 7 or 10 points isn't important. Every build could like use those to great effect and it is bafflingly uncomphrensibly stupid that ggg makes max level a pointless grind.
