Mask of stitched demon, eldrich battery & mind over matter

Trying to work out how this interaction is happening

- Mask of stitched demon says you cannot have an energy shield however it uses your max energy shield as a calculation for increasing your health regen.

- Eldrich battery converts all energy shield to mana

- Mind over matter makes it so all damage is applied to mana first rather than health.


The interaction I was expecting here would be my max mana increases but i retain the same amount of life regen from mask of stitched demon. Somehow my life regen is being decreased by this interaction. The mana from eldrich battery applies but the health regen overall goes down.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know for sure, but I assume that "cannot have Energy Shield" on Mask means you can't have more than 0 current ES, but your Maximum still exists. That's why you get the life regen from it.

When you spec into Eldrich Battery, it's converting your ES, so you no longer have any max ES for Mask to scale off of.
