[POE2] Missing Kabala Clan Relic in Act 2 - Unable to Complete Quest for 14 days+

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering a frustrating issue and could really use some guidance. During Act 2, the Kabala Clan Relic needed to complete the quest never dropped for me. As a result, I’m stuck and unable to finish the quest, which provides passive bonuses that I’d love to have.

Here’s the situation:

I’ve run through the map dozens of times and haven’t found the relic.
I’ve checked my inventory and stash multiple times; the relic definitely isn’t there.
I progressed through the campaign regardless and have since completed it on Normal, Cruel, and now I’m in the endgame.
Every now and then, I return to Act 2 to check if it will finally drop, but no luck so far.
The quest is still active, but it requires me to place the relic in the altar – which obviously I can’t do without the item. 2nd relic (Sun Clan) dropped quickly, and i already put it in the altair. Also on Cruel, i got both of relics. I just cant drop this one in original Act 2.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is there a way to force the item to drop or reset the quest? Should I contact support, or is there some in-game workaround I might’ve missed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated – it’s been bugging me (no pun intended) for a while now.

I had this issue. I had a friend playing with me through Keth. When we hit Valley of the Titans, I put in the first half and I think he put in the second and I believe my relic disappeared from my inventory if memory serves me correct. Now I can’t find the Keth relic any at all. I had to delete and recreate the character.

the relics are random drops from specific mobs ie the hyena clan members in the specific zones, sun is from keth i think and kabala from the zone with the mammoth boss

it can happen that you kill 3 mobs and drop 2 relics, cause they can drop repeatedly as long as you dont have one picked up yet, or you have to kill a bunch til they drop

make sure you are in the correct zone and that you kill the correct mobs, the hyenas in the mammoth boss area are actually not that many, you gotta search for them maybe

the quest should not be able to bug out unless you picked up the relic which makes other dropped copies respawn and stops you from dropping more, and then lost or deleted it...if you actually haven found it yet it should still drop sooner or later...

No, the Kabala relic drops from Keth and the Sun Relic drops from Bone Pits.

I have had the same issue in my case, the Sun Clan Relic from The Bone Pits and the Kabala Clan Relic from Keth or the Lost City. Not finding the Kabala Clan Relic in my stash.
