Stuck at the quest ascent to power

Im stuck at ascent to power even tho i have killed all the bosses on normal and cruel. Problem is when i kill the boss i green item doesnt drop and now the quest is lockt at this and i can’r progres the quest line, this in cruel mode, done it once in normal and had no issue with this.

Ascent to power isn't a repeatable quest like the other quests. This is the trial of sekhemas right?

So there are 4 trials you have to do.

First is 1 trial. requires a djinn barya with 1 trial

The second is chaos trial 1 trial - requires inscribed ultimatum with 3 trials

The third is trial of sekhemas again. requiries Djinn barya with 3 trials --- THIS IS WHERE YOU ARE CURRENTLY AT

the 4th is your choice

You can do Trial of sekhemas using a Dyinn Barya with 4 trials on it

OR you can do the Trial of Chaos with 4 trials on it. (i opted for this one so don't fully know the other one, but this one requires 3 different pieces to open the door to the trial master, and these pieces are dropped by the 3rd boss in the chaos trial randomly, so they don't always give you the next one you need)

You can trade for them, people tend to do this if necessary.

Look close at the Djinn Barya's they will say "level xx" and then they will say "number of trials X" that's what i'm referring to. here's an image




Also they don't start having 3 trials until lvl 60 for djinn barryas, and lvl 60 drops from lvl 60+ mobs afaik. Lvl 60 on the map, i don't remember exactly, but is around the end of act 3 cruel. I wanna say Utzaal is 64. so just a couple zones before that. from what i've seen number of trials IS ALWAYS tied to level. so 60-74 is guaranteed to be 3 trials, 75-80 is 4 etc...

One final note, is the Djinn Barya, AND Inscribed ultimatums both say on them "This WILL grant more ascendancy points" or it will say it won't.

Ok but, I have an questmarker on traitors passage, quest says search traitors passage, and when i enter in to the chamber where Balbala it’s marked as a quest. Also the in game map has the quest pin marked on Traitors Passage.

Oh yea, mind did the same thing. Unfortunately, that's just a glitch in the game, if you do a djinn barya of level 60+ you will finish the quest. I remember that happening now.
