Is chaos resistance necessary to cap?

Hey,

im currently playing as a ranger deadeye, lvl 88 and i was wondering if its necessary for me to cap also chaos resistance? I currently have elemental res at max 75% and chaos res at 74%, but because of trying to cap chaos resistance aswell, i had to sacrifice in some of my items like life, evasion etc, cuz getting all resistances to cap with life, some types of extra dmg etc. is kinda expensive for me atm. So all im asking, if its necessary to have also chaos res to cap and if not, what percentage should i aim for?

I have heard that its way more important to also cap chaos compared to poe1.

Its certainly not easy.

I carry a chaos resist charm for this reason, although I'm mid 70s so you're quite far ahead of me.
