PS5 - Items disappearing and impossible to pick up with item filter enabled [SOLVED]

I installed an item filter (version 0.1.1) from FilterBlade for Path of Exile 2. It worked fine at first, but for the past few hours, I’ve been experiencing a problem with disappearing items. Everything that drops is impossible to pick up.

Here’s what happens: I see the item on the ground, but there’s no option to pick it up. The item description briefly appears, but then it disappears. For example, when a Divine Orb drops, I see the label, hear the sound, and see the light beam, but if I don’t pick it up within a second, the label vanishes. The item is still visually on the ground, and the beam is still visible, but there’s no way to interact with it or add it to my inventory.

The same thing happens when I drop items from my inventory—they vanish completely and cannot be retrieved.

I’m playing on a PS5.

I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps:

- Reinstalling the game.
- Turning the item filter on and off.
- Modifying the filter on FilterBlade.
- Deleting the filter entirely.

Unfortunately, none of these have resolved the issue.


edit: it turns out, that something disabled an option to highlight all items on the ground. Weird bc it's on the other tab than a filter selection is.

Same issue but couldnt solve it… Where is that option that solved the issue??

you either switch it with L2+right arrow (eyesight icon)
or in the options
General -> Always highlight

Hey I’m dealing with the same exact thing and I’ve been struggling all weekend to resolve the issue. Haven’t been able to pick up any items or maps. What can I do to fix this? Nothing have worked. From uninstalling the game completely. To deleting the filters completely. Even on default I’m getting nothing to show at all on my map runs. None of my characters can pick up anything and today I’ve lost about 3 map runs due to the game crashing and kicking me back to title screen.
