General Console Frustrations Part II
Targeting system needs a rework
It's not great. Useable, but not great. There should be 2 modes. Closest and most dangerous. I'm not a game developer I have no idea how that would work, but that is how it should work. Hell, being able to switch targets would be great. I also think that the area in which targeting begins should be bumped up to the edge of the screen. I think right now it is just outside that 7m range. Which doesn't feel great when i need to hit someone with an ability. I don't know if moving the screen bounds affects it, but it may interact with it. Also when I'm using some mark skills and I'm back peddling it targets the area I'm retreating to instead of the actual enemy I'm wanting to target. Please remove checkpoints These seem to more of an middle finger if anything, bc they don't do anything and they're badly place. I would much rather have the option to see bosses on the map sooner or all the time. The UI for inventory info pop up needs moved. Right now it blocks, EVERYTHING. If the info tip could not be this giant thing over what I'm looking at. That'd be great. If I'm hovering over something in my stash. I still want to see what's in my stash basically. It could be moved to the Right side of the stash tab and be fine. Just not on top of everything. Can everything not be on the Right? You have Quests and weapon/Armor info that overlaps and its hella annoying. Move one. Conversely the character dialogue and the Mana/Life/Spirit info Overlap on the left. (Since i use a left hand menu) Shorten the Edit Hideout button It just doesn't need to take up the whole bottom portion of the screen. No need. Is it possible to open a different tab than inventory from the pause menu? Yes, holding the button lets me do that. What I'm talking about is opening the character menu all the time and not the inventory one. Gem tool tip info Having gems be available to use while also the gem saying that it can't be used with said skill is misleading. It's a matter of which ones right kind of thing. Can i use primal armament with charged staff or does it say it wont matter in the calculations? Which one is it? Why was it an option to slot if it can't be used? How Skill slot work is kinda dumb. Going into this game i thought it was cool that i could buy a slot BEFORE my character could use it. Give them a temporary power spike. The fact that I need Greater and Perfect Gem Orbs to actually unlock my character, hurts. Hurts even more when i cant even use 3 lesser ones to make a greater gem and so on. I know rarity find is here to stay, but how can i get greater and perfect orbs by just playing the game? Im doing max delirium corrupted T15. What more do you want? If skill slots opened up on characters at the level the base weapons do, it would feel amazing. I don't see it changing, but really need more currencies to drop. If it is required for a character to progress then i should probably see more than 1 greater orb over 72 hrs. Last bumped on Jan 18, 2025, 11:38:42 AM
