Title: Disappearing Loot

Hello,

I started playing in Hardcore Solo Self Found mode on Xbox Series X yesterday. After some time, my character died in the Mausoleum because the filter settings page suddenly opened in the console’s browser. When it happened, I thought it was strange, but I assumed it was due to my hand dysfunction caused by my disability. I probably pressed an unexpected button combination.

I created a new character, and after killing the Devourer in Act 1, I noticed that the loot from the boss disappeared after about two seconds. Then I realized that this issue affects the entire game—loot vanishes right after appearing.

It might be related to the loot filter—I’m using NeverSink-2semistr-PoE2. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Best regards.

This is happening to me too. I'm on PS5 playing Standard. When the loot drops it appears for half a second, then it disappears and cannot be collected. At first I thought this was due to Item Filter, but I noticed this happening to items that should clearly be not filtered but still disappearing. I then turned off all filters, closed the game, and reopened, but it is still happening with no item filters and with default item filter. Items just disappear after dropping. I've messed with "Item Filter" menu option and "Hide Filtered Ground Items" but none of them help. This seems like a pretty big issue.

Correction: I don't think it started with 0.1.1. It started today or yesterday. This wasn't happening before.

Here's a video of it happening. https://imgur.com/a/H2M54aQ

Sapphire Ring drops. I intentionally don't pick it up to show that it disappears after a second. Changing Item Filter and restarting the game does not fix.
i am not sure, but i think i read something about it with the option, hide items that are not in your Lootfilter.

This Option is under your Lootfilter.
Some people wrote, that with this option on , loot is not Dropping at all or causes Loot Problems.

1. I dont know it that is the case, but maybe check , if you got this Button Checked and uncheck it - and try out if it gets better.

2. The second thing your can do is a fix for most of the Storage relatet problems
( Like Map dissapearing - Disconnects through portal use )

3. - Fully start another game ( like poe1 or something else )
- Than start poe2 again - your caches will sorted and so some problems get fixed.

4. the next option is to Clear Caches and rebuild your Database
- You can google it - its a simple think and takes 5 Minutes.

5. If both these things wont help
- Reinstall the game

Thanks for the suggestions.

1. That's the "Hide Filtered Ground Items" button I mentioned above. Unfortunately, I've tried this multiple times but doesn't solve the problem.

2, 3, 4, 5: I'm not sure if there's a way to clear cache on PS5, since there is no directory access like that. I guess the only thing I can do is try deleting the game and reinstalling it. But hopefully a team member sees this post because this feels like a game breaking bug. Not sure how wide spread the impact is though.
Try binding the new Toggle Label Visibility (open eye icon) option to a free skill slot and toggle that on/off?

Thank you so much! You are the best :) This was the issue. I must have accidentally pressed the skill bind for Toggle Label Visibility at some point. Not a bug, just user error. I think a more visible indicator that shows that labels are hidden could be useful for noobs like me.

i am happy, that u could get rid of your problem :)

But for "how to Clear Chaches on ps5"
u can use google and u get a 5 Step explaination , how to do it.

1. Select Turn Off PS5.
Wait until the PS5 power indicator light shuts off.
Connect your controller to the console using the USB cable.

2 . Press and hold the power button on the console until you hear a second
beep to enter Safe Mode.
This should take about 7 seconds

3. Navigate to the Clear Cache and Rebuild Database option using your
controller.

4. Select Clear System Software Cache.
Select OK.
Wait for the console to restart on its own.

This same Process can be used to Rebuild Data Base afterwards. So you need to do it 2 Times in order to Clear caches and rebuild data base.

But now u dont need it, because u got your loot back xD
But in Case, someone need this information, i post it regardless

Have a nice play
