Trail of Chaos soul cores bugged elevator switch

During the 3rd trial of chaos where you need to collect the 3 soul cores I got the following bug:

- One switch near an elevator is not interactable. I assume this switch should been interactable and brings down the elevator (the elevator is up and I am on the ground level).
- The elevator back up from where I came is down and not interactable (meaning can't go back from where I came).
- Investigated the small ground floor, found one soul core and socketed it - still no way to go up.
- No other switches or elevator or any way to progress. I went over the entire accessible area a few times to verify I am not missing anything.

So basically I am stuck on the ground floor and can't reach the other soul cores which are above me.

My only option is to exit the game, which then forces me to restart the trail.

Also, the first time I got to this soul core puzzle, it was another variation where there is a switch which moves walls around. I didn't understand what to do with that, and again my only option was to exit the game and restart the trail. Later I read that you need to go back up from where you came from after moving the switch. Assuming this is the solution and this is not also bugged, this does make sense once you know it but I think it is not obvious to a lot of people.

Do note that I did manage to get through the soul core puzzle once (that time there were 3 elevators and they were all operational with no switches so it was very intuitive and easy).

I am bugged too. but not the same situation. By google the tips, I know I can use the switch and back to the elevator to the upper level, which I got 2 cores. But the one on the ground floor, is at the other side of the room, which I can't cross to it. No matter how I tried, there is an air wall blocked.

Yes, this soul core trial is bugged, the lift should be on the ground and the switch uninteractible. I got this trial twice already with the same outcome, I had to log out 🤨 and waste a trial coin.
