Help with Galvantic Shards Mercenary please

Well, i can clear everything in a zap, except major pinnacle bosses. I can't even get the first Xesht down.

I'm following everything to a "T", except the passive skill tree. I'm using half from that guide, then half from another guide (for the energy shield bonus it applies) .

I just can't kill the bosses, I end up getting smoked eventually.
I feel like I can allocate my passive points more efficiently, I just need an experienced PoE player.

I'm level 96, please help.

I kinda figured my situation out (killing minions easy T16, but pinnacle bosses no luck)

I had to put the "Fresh Clip" support Gem in my Shockburst skill.

Plus, "Galvanic Shards" required "conduction" support Gem for more efficient use with "Herald of Thunder".

Witchhunter crossbow build sucks no matter what you do.... I have quite good gears, but still can't kill any serious bosses.

It's all about shockburst rounds for bossing. Shockburst scales well with attack speed so HoWa is BIS. Also, fresh clip, martial tempo, lightning infusion, etc..

Shockburst rounds can easily reach 250K+ DPS with a little gear and melts bosses. The trick is keeping the boss shocked, which can be accomplished with stormcaller arrow bow swap & voltanic mark. Good luck to you!

Plasma blast hits like a nuclear weapon then swap to shock burst rounds and they die fast. Use galvanic shards for clearing maps.

I can't even switch to shockburst 99% of the time. It seems loading different rounds is broken. Half of the time so, I end up dying running around with galvanic shards trying to fight bosses.

hey man i had similar problem and i hope this isnt too late:

1) switch to gemlin, the damage and surviability is much better (dont take hits from criticals, move faster while shooting) is much better for bosses and mapping

2) i wasnt using wasd so couldnt really strafe while shooting, can try this with shard or shockburst

3) get all your gear with + damage on gloves, rings, weapon. im using a crit build so stacking crit bonus and theres a buncha very good crit bonus support gems; one particular one increases total crit damage bonus by 30%, very strong

4) start fight with plasma cannon. im one shotting t15 bosses with it and it mostly always shocks the pinnacle bosses with extra shock, so dont need to put points into extra shock magnitude
