Simulacrum...
Simulacrum on clearfell is an absolute joke! wave 8 puts you into a tiny little walkway with no possible room to maneuver, unless the build you have is broken, and clearing the screen before anything can spawn. Please GGG make it resemble POE1 a little more, because this was absolutely broken for the amount of effort it takes to gather enough splinters to attempt it.

I was doing fairly well until 2 rares spawned with mana siphon. Can't get close if there's an army in front of me :(.

its just a poor mechanic to limit our play area that much and spawn every thing on top...

" It would be fine if there was no mob hp/resist boosts. Think I got 3 80% more life in a row. Couldn't kill anything by that point. I could be misremembering it though. They could make the simulacrum like waystones, so you can choose what to add to them instead of getting a random mob boost per wave. Or reduce the mob boosts to 3 per wave. Or add a choice to the boosts like ultimatum. Or reduce the total waves. Last edited by Assababud#2808 on Jan 21, 2025, 9:14:59 PM

I've beaten at least the first round (level 0) of all the other endgame pinnacle content and +0 and +1 of Arbiter. Simulacrum obliterated me on wave 11 because I rolled 25% ele pen on top of 80% delirious keeping mobs alive forever. The bosses were a total nonissue relative to just getting slapped by a rare mob dealing elemental damage. I realize Simulacrum has always been this way in PoE 1 (i.e. it took a pretty specific build to clear it), but, you know, maybe it doesn't have to be? Especially not at level 0? Especially if we're sticking with 1 portal?

Kosis and Omniphobia are comparably dangerous to your average white monster. They both need buffs.
Simulacrum however is just weird. It only works for builds that can either freeze, stun, or electrocute lock everything in place, or one shot everything as it spawns. No maneuver room, and no corpses to use is a questionable prospect. |
