ferocity + whirling assault bug?

Hello i got Ferocity support gem linked to Whirling Assault.
With Resonance Node i generate Frenzy Charges by Devastate + Break Endurance support gems linked to Staggering Palm.

When i got Frenzy Charges my Whirling Assault skill speed should be 40% higher.
But i dont feel that and window stats also show the same value off Attack Time like i no have frenzy charge.

Charges are consumed but i dont got any effect of that.
Maybe i do something wrong?

Whirling Assault used at 1:01 looks a bit slower than the next one at 1:10 to me.

You probably don't feel the boost because Whirling Assault has "+ 1.4 seconds to Total Attack Time", which isn't affected by attack (or skill) speed. Do you really feel the difference with and without Martial Tempo support?
Yes martial tempo make quite big difference.
And you can see that in stats skill window.
And this is only 25% buff
Ferocity should give you 40%
For example when i take Skill speed shrine i feel that very much!

After ferocity active (when u got frenzy charges) window stats dont show any differences but i will record gameplay and try count frame in some video maker software.

When i post that issue nobody talk about this, now i see 3 post about "ferocity not work"

That is VERY powerfull support gem!
It SHOULD work.

Unfortunatly most players use builds from internet etc... thats why many bugs are still under fog.

Today i will make documented test.

He's right, + Total attack time is not modifiable and only the portion of base attack speed from your weapon is multiplied. if your staff has 1.4 aps, and whirling assault adds 1.4 to attack time all your inc attack speed /more attack speed will modify your weapon speed, convert it to attack time, then add 1.4 sec to total.
thank you. Now i know why attack speed bufs increase whirling assault attack speed only "little"... BUT!!! ferocity not modify any factors of attack time (even base) today i will prepare another video where you will se how changing attack time for example with and without martial tempo support... (to compare)

Did some tests and can confirm Ferocity doesn't speed up Earthquake when it consumes a frenzy charge. I counted frames to be sure and it actually makes things worse in my setup. When the skill consumes a frenzy charge the animation consistently takes 4 more frames compared to normal use.

We can see how atack time value is changed with and without martial tempo and with and without ferocity+frenzy charges.
Looks like with charges attack is shorter but....

Tomorrow i will check how many frames we got in both situations.

Unfortunetly i record gameplay with too low FPS freq.
I will try catch that at 120fps and record skill from the same perspective.
On recorded yesterday video i even cant see when i push trigger button :/

I temporarily considered the start of the attack to be the moment when the mana level began to drop, but it is difficult to determine the end of the attack if both situations are not recorded from the same perspective.

Unfortunately, initial analysis showed that both attacks take the same amount of time.
