Game Instant Crashes Upon Entering Drowned City

I am leveling a Gemling Legionaire in Act 3 Normal. Upon entering the area my frame rate immediately drops and the game crashes. I managed to pick up a checkpoint and now whenever i log onto the character the game crashes upon loading in. I can access my other characters with no issues but this specific location seems to be causing my game to crash and not allowing me to use the character at all.

Pc Specs:
Ryzen 7 5800X3D
MSI B550 GAMING PLUS
NVIDIA 3060 TI
32 GB of Ram
Game is installed on an NVME SSD

Edit: Switching to M& when selecting character allowed me to load in and function normally. Issue seems to be when i load in with my controller.
