Can we get some Communication about Hard Crash Issues Please?
"The hard crash", where paid customers of Path of Exile 2 encounter an OS freeze that requires them to manually shut down their PCs by pressing the power button to resolve, has been around for 48 Days.
Could GGG please communicate with us? Please explain: 1) What went wrong? 2) What you are doing to fix it? 3) What possible causes have you eliminated as the source of the problem? 4) What triggers have you discovered that starts the resource hog loop other than "zone change"? (This one is really important because it allows players to create workarounds) 5) What is your estimated time of fix? 6) How did this sort of bug managed to avoid detection in your testing period? 7) What you will be doing to compensate players that have been affected by this issue? 8) Whether refunds would be made available for those that are no longer interested in playing the game? I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1. What to do: 1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad. 2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review. 3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there. for me it was the bent motherboard causing a hordlockup on my pc , i bended it back and im fine now , funny thing this was happening only in poe2. i guess the game is quite taxing.

the issue is happening in poe1 as well. I got bored of poe2 and went back to poe1 but can't play it eighter due to game crashes on loading screen and insane latency spikes after teleporting to new zone. I'm playing games for 20 years and this is the worst gaming experience of all time for me.

" Agreed. Those who are working on this problem (if they exist) and those who are responsible for communication are not the same people. At this point we need an official communication from GGG to understand what to do next. For example if they were to say "this problem will take us 2 months to fix", I could then simply uninstall the game and comeback 2 months later. Or if they were to say "We will allow refunds after February 1st" then we would be at ease for at least getting our money back. Or if they were to say "using X skill seems to trigger the crashes" we can avoid it, one less trigger mean one less crash. But we get nothing. Not a single information about anything. As long as they are not doing this our only other option is to increase the pressure and warn others by giving a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.

We-as paying customers- have the right to know.

I kid you not:
Patch has added a detection function for further logging of this crash BUT ONLY FOR DX12. They still do not accept that this crash happens on DX11 and Vulcan too, they still do not want to accept that their own engine is at fault... They want your PC to be their test device. Why would GGG risk their own hardware when we -the paying customers- can do it? Just run the game and crash a lot and brick your PC... Guess that's why they haven't been adding the workarounds in... Dear GGG, Enough is enough.
