Is there any reason why GGG refuses to even acknowledge the fact that the game is unplayable
I have read at least 20 posts with countless replies all complaining about the exact same crashing bug that has been ruining maps
I myself have lost 3 maps today from constant crashes My pc runs every other game at high quality with multiple monitors running multiple programs, but as soon as I hit a GGG loading screen my entire pc tries to explode This fix seems insanely easy, lower CPU utilization on load screens, that's it. I know nothing about software or code, yet I can very obviously tell the issue is the load screens spiking CPU load for no reason All known band aids stop working after a few hours of gameplay and 0 support tickets have been answered, to the point GGG had to issue a statement about how bad their support team is (and again failed to mention the single biggest issue players are currently facing) If anyone knows of an actual fix to the issue I'd appreciate a reply, but this post is just venting in hopes someone at GGG actually reads the bug report thread and does something about it (which I doubt considering their silence recently) Last bumped on Jan 24, 2025, 2:17:26 PM

" ??? They have made multiple responses to crashing issues, they have been bug fixing them every single patch/hotfix, not sure what else you want. If your still experiencing crashes, either revert windows to before 24h2 or just wait till they release fixes. Not all the crashes are even related to GGG's issues, both NVIDIA and Windows have had versions that just don't work or crash on multiple games, including POE, which GGG can't really do much besides having to wait for them to release updates for. TL:DR-They read bug reports and release crash fixes constantly. |

Not a single patch mentions the crashes and people with AMD hardware have had the same issues, it's a GGG loading screen issue, thanks for reply.

Hi Kogadama!
Sorry you're experiencing this like so many others. FYI, I have seen GGG talk about working on crashes on the podcasts/streams so that may be what the other poster was referring to. I had immediate crash issues really bad with my full AMD rig as well up front but I was luckily able to resolve them almost completely by updating my BIOS firmware. I hadn't realized how far behind I was, and it made a huge difference. No idea if that would help you but thought I'd share, if it had any chance of helping deal with the frustrating issue. Best of luck! |

" So are you just lying or being deliberately obtuse out of frustration? Patch 0.1.1b Added a new client command line option which sends us additional debug information (API markers, NVIDIA Nsight Aftermath, and DRED) from DirectX 12 client crashes. If you're experiencing a large number of crashes and using DirectX 12, then temporarily enabling this will assist us in identifying the cause. This can be enabled by adding "--ex-crash-report" to your Path of Exile 2 command line arguments/launch options. Fixed a client crash related to checkpoint UI. Fixed an instance crash. 0.1.1 Hotfix 3 Fixed several instance crashes. 0.1.1 Hotfix 1 Fixed an instance crash. Patch 0.1.1 Fixed four client crashes. Fixed four instance crashes. Fixed a client crash that could occur with Power Siphon while holding a Shield. Fixed a client crash that could occur in couch co-op when interacting with the Unique Stash Tab. Fixed a client crash that could occur in couch co-op when interacting with the Corruption Altar. Patch 0.1.0f Fixed a client crash related to Power Siphon. Fixed a buffer underflow client crash. I could go on... |

" Knows nothing about coding or software, yet claims to know EXACTLY the reason why game is crashing lol. POE players in a nutshell. |
|
Literally none of those say "loading screen crash that freezes entire system requiring a hard reboot."
It appears in all sorts of systems and OSes and versions (23H2, 24H2), Vulcan, DX11, DX12, etc. etc. etc. None of those fixes address the issue that people are experiencing. |

" and Zero fixes for windows 11 24h2 problem v1tAm1n^

" So we are just being obtuse. Dead discussion I guess. |

Obviously if they fix it, it'll be fixed. And if they didn't fix it, they wouldn't put it in the patch notes.
They're obviously working on fixing crashes, and even are adding additional tools for diagnosing some of the common crashes people are having. So it's very obtuse to claim they aren't working on fixing a particular crash. |
