Dual Wielding Should be Buffed

I don't think i have seen any build using Dual Wielding with maces, i tried to do it but it seems to make my character more heavy than using a Two-Hand Mace, and my damage becomes lower while using two maces instead of one.
I still think that the damage while Dual Wielding is bugged in some form, if not it is a big oversight from GGG. I really hope it becomes at least a viable option when the "Reset" comes.

You do a lot more damage when you dual wield as long as both weapons are somewhat equivalent to each other. The downside is being slower, which is a mace issue altogether.

Yeah maybe my problem is having a good mace and a lightly above average mace together, but if is meant to be this way they should REALLY rework how it is working, i'm trading defense(with a shield or focus) for more damage, so it SHOULDN'T lower my damage.

Well if you have 2 similiar maces, your damage output actually is significantly higher. For example, if you are using 2 maces that have 300 pdps, you're dealing 70% of damage from each weapon, which increases that hit damage by 40%. At the moment the problem for changing out your damage for defense is that the increase in damage leaves you vulnerable to death so you can't do damage at all. Dual wielding provides a good benefit for damage but the trade off of 30% LESS attack speed gimps you way to harshly.
