Items dont show mod tier anymore on Contoller?

When using the controller, Info button used to show mod tiers on items but the feature seems have gone after the 0.1.1 patch.

Is there a hidden switch I need to turn on or is it a bug?

Yes, I'm having the same issue since 0.1.1, PC, gamepad.
I already made a detailed reply to a different thread about this issue, made my own thread detailing this issue, and am replying here now to confirm, that yes, it is indeed happening and I doubt it's intended because the whole quality info on gems is missing.
This applies to a right stick, toggleable info window, the on press left stick info window is as before, but it is not quite as useful as the toggleable one (and quite a bit more annoying to wrangle), for obvious reasons.
