Delirium is not fun - Dont override graphics/audio because of its permanent nature in maps

A major gripe being ported over from poe 1.

Delirium is a must-have in late-game, you have the mechanic on your atlas and lategame you play your maps with delirium if you want to optimize.

But in turn it turns off everything fun in the game.

The color palette is almost entirely removed.

The whole soundtrack in the game is removed and replaced by a single track that wears off very quickly. So in turn many players turn music off completely.

Also it is a major problem for ground effects because the mist obscures most ground effects.


So in essence it makes all the game feel like the same, it feels mandatory and it motivates the player to completely deactivate the music.

For now i have decided to not optimize my maps further because i dislike delirium due to the reasons stated above.

My preference would be if delirium were completely removed for even more reasons like being a timed mechanic, invulnerable monsters, deactivated bosses due to delirium abilities and more. But i would settle if the game would not make this otherwise beautiful game so very ugly.
