Telegraphing of one-shot/high damage mechanics needs improvement

My main gripe with the game is that most of the time I just 'shrug' when I get killed by something, since it really feels like nothing I could have done could have changed the death; they feel arbitrary.

Too many one-shot mechanics are not telegraphed clearly enough or do too much damage for how spontaneous they are - rare mobs that show up and corpse pop give you a split second to react.

Lack of visual clarity on ground effects on certain maps or when stacked on top of each other is hugely problematic (RIP my colorblind brothers).

Yesterday the Silverfist Boss on maps jumps from off screen and smashed my face in before I even knew what boss I was fighting.

IMO any effect that is high damage / one-shot should be telegraphed, and right now, that simply isn't happening.

I love the game and want to keep playing, but deaths like these are really discouraging.
