Vulkan doesnt work on linux

At this point this is a known issue and the solution is changing to dx12 but im playing on quite an old system with a GTX 1650, and the game was working just fine for me on windows; because of lack of space i got a new drive and changed to linux looking to improve performance but since I cannot make use of vulkan i pretty much have the same as before this is not a priority but having the solution be "dont use vulkan at all cause its broken" doesnt sound right

Apparently it is related to vsync being always active on vulkan if clarifying this helps but this is not something i know for certain is just what I read on forums.
