Computer freezes in loading screen

My computer has been crashing (freezing) in loading screens on PoE2. This has always been the case since the start of early access. It happens randomly, about 50% of the time it crashes. It might happen while loading in a character or while jumping from one area to another. It only happens while the loading screen is up. All music stops, no apps respond anymore and you can't CTRL+ALT+DEL. The only thing working is the cursor, however you can't click anything. The computer needs a hard restart in order to work again. I use a pretty high end gaming computer and none of my resources go to 100% while in loading screen.

Is this a known issue? Are there any fixes known?

Welcome to the club! We have an exclusive community since launch with no known fixes, just work arounds.

This issue has been going on ever since the game was launched. It has been 50 days now. As GGG's paying customers GGG should have been communicating with us, but they are not.

Do not continue playing the game while you are having these crashes Steam and here have multiple reports where people have bricked their PCs due to this hard crash.

The fix is this:
As long as GGG is not interested in open communication our only other option is to increase the pressure and warn others by giving a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner.
