Poor visibility of ground effects

I died early today, I assume to an enemy ground attack. I posted the video on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/s/UlaVJ8jDsQ) however it’s clear from the video I think that it’s not clear what actually kills me. At first I thought I saw a ground effect but I think it’s actually from storm wave/charged staff, and doesn’t seem like any enemy telegraphed an attack. In general I think on maps with ground cover (grass/shrubs etc) and when other effects are active (e.g. ice on ground), it become impossible to notice enemy attacks on the ground which leads to frustrating deaths like this one, where you have no way of avoiding or learning from it.
