Unable to get acendency points due to crash

I was running the Trial of the Sekhemas for my fourth acendency and the game froze right as I killed the last boss (Zarokh). At this point the game seemed to be running in the background while the screen was frozen as I could hear my character walk around. I managed to find the exit (i think) while the screen was still frozen, hoping this would fix the issue. Unfortunately, the game completely crashed instead. When i got back in my character was outside the trial and I did not get my acendency points.

After spending a good chunk of time in there just for the last acendency points, this is very frustrating.
