Hardcore to Softcore Map Altar Bug

When my lvl 82 HC character died and went to softcore she lost access to the map device entirely, cannot talk to Doryian to unlock it, cannot go through a portal or talk to NPCs to unlock it, cannot beat Doryian again to unlock it. I'm at a loss.

Character just appears to be bricked.

-I have never unlocked maps in SC. Maybe that has something to do with this bug?
