The trials of chaos and grouping with a friend before.

I had a friend send a group request with his higher level character. When we grouped, it gave me a bugged version of The Trials of Chaos quest. The title is red. And, when I kill the Chimera, it doesn't drop the Chimeral Imbued Ultimatum. If I use a different ultimatum, it lets me do the trial, but then when I portal out, it teleports me to the Act 3 version of the Ziggurat Encampment and tells me to go thru the portal to start the cruel difficulty. I can then teleport back to act 6 and continue any other quest, but the bugged version of The Trials of Chaos quest comes back.
