Save Loss?

Hey Guys, I beat the mad wolf of Ogham yesterday in cruel act one. I had got to cruel act 2 on the caravan and closed my game for the day. Logged in today to find myself back at Ogham castle asking me to defeat the mad wolf again? Confused...please help?
