Rage on hit - Quaterstaff - not working

Hi,
I corrupted my staff today and got 1 rage on hit as a bonus.

I have tested this in a map, no rage was being created when i used normal staff attack, ice strike & charged staff.
I was using the rage support gem prior and it was creating rage as intended.
Please look into this issue.
