Just Died in a portal on the way back to hideout??

Hi my bug report reference number is (1,921,538,192) I was mapping, and portalled out to hideout to empty out inv, but as i was in the portal loading screen, i died? there was a mob attacking me but i was already in the loading screen back to hideout and i thought i was safe.....

Do portals not have invincibility??? damn what a messed up way to die
