Alchemists boon does not provide mana for party members

I can clearly see a red line transfering over to my party member and it even the distance can be increased, however mana flasks are not doing anything at the moment.

No visual indicator and mana recovery remains the same when using the flask. We tried with a basic mana flask and maelstrom, didn't help.
