24H Listings with Buy Now Option

If we could get a trade/auction house where when you list items they don't disappear when you're offline, that would be great. All you would need to do is allow linked items to be shown on characters while offline and then let the currency be held by Alva if purchased.

I am sure it's not that simple but I would think the developers would be able to make something work.

I keep seeing this idea and similar ones, mostly paired with "it will fix the economy" and so on.

I wonder if ppl actually thought through what would happen if this would be possible? Everyone - and that includes pricefixers, bots, RTMers and so on - would have then access to this item for 24h to grab it. and they WILL be the first ones to grab anything remotly good, cheap priced.

Imagine how much more easy it would get to dictate market prices in big amounts.

there are plenty of examples of insane pricefixing with auctionhouses, marketboards etc. everyone that ever played an MMO with a function like this has exp someone buying out every single item of a kind and then demanding insane high prices *squinting my eyes at you ffxiv*

now if someone would come along and suggest to integrate the function of the trade-website to ingame - I would be hype af!
as example an NPC that works similar to the currency exchange, but offers all the options of the trading website, so we can do it ingame and not via extrenal website (especially important for all the console ppl).
the absolute cherry on top for me would be, if we could see a price median as well in graph form.
