Corrupt character

I have a corrupt character. Every time I play a specific character, the game pauses and eventually the connection is lost and it shuts down. It’s corrupt on the server side and I’ve done everything to try and restore it.
Can you please restore my character?

What exact steps have you taken in regards to this character being "corrupt"? Can you load and play other characters without issue? Can you log in with the character at all, and if so, at what point does the game stop responding?

If you play on PC, you can run Packcheck.exe from the game's installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile 2

Hi. Partner of the original poster here. It started with her character lagging out while fighting in act 4 - cruel. she would get the “unexpected disconnection “ message. I was also playing on the same network, with an almost identical PC. and never had any issues.
I have tried numerous performance / resource usage tweaks / and they’ve stopped her from disconnecting as quickly but it still happens in every zone, even in town.

She started a different character and has had zero issues with that character. no lagging while fighting, no disconnections.

that’s why lie believe there is some sort of server side issue / possibly corrupted character.

the character is on Pc.

i have not run paccheck.exe what would that do?

I ran packcheck.exe and it says “the pack file has become corrupted and cannot be repaired. Currently the only way to fix this is to delete Content.ggpk and download it again by running the client”
