Trial of Chaos is always bugged for me

When I complete a map and ride up the 'success' elevator, there is no way to proceed to the next level. I become stuck in a small area at the top of the elevator, as though the wall fails to open. Though this happens with only one map, it happens in every attempt I make to progress through the trial area.
