Bug - Arbiter instant win on 2nd attempt

Died on the 1st attempt. Arbiter was half hp.
Respawned at the edge of the platform for 2nd attempt.
Walked to the middle of platform and Artiber died without any actions taken, skill book dropped.

Cannot reach 'Power Awaits You' item.
