Trials of Sekhemas
I a new player and never played POE until someone told me about POE2. Absolutely love POE2 and the campaign to endgame was pleasant. I enjoy making characters with a strong build.
But to my main point. How is it possible to defeat the trials of Sekhemas. Its nearly impossible to complete with all the affliction going on. It like you're guaranteed to lose honour wants you get to the third trials. I need to see one of the devs complete it because it's simply not possible. Last bumped on Jan 31, 2025, 5:20:15 PM

And lastly if i fail one last time i am just going to quit the game. You got your money but not the loyalty yet. Make the game better.

Cant let one of these go by without jumping all over it
Yeah they suck the whole concept sucks . Make a character absolute ass over 45 minutes until they die. It's not epic. The final boss laughs as a one legged, blind, no defense, half life and frail character drags itself into the final room. The boss doesn't even get out of its chair.. Boss: Ok Let's do this droolcup! " All I can tell you is it gets easier with practice. A lot easier. But also a lot of practice Last edited by roborat#7253 on Jan 30, 2025, 8:53:05 PM

" What level are you, and which are you trying to complete. I made it all the way to the end boss my first trial then died at level 22 or 23. Then I found out most people were just waiting and leveling to lvl 27 give or take a few levels. Of coarse this trivialized the trial and it went from being impossible to a tedious annoyance. I don't think you should need to spend an hour of your time on the trial. |

" So don't take the afflictions then. If a path to a boon or merchant forces you on a bad affliction, take another path. Don't be greedy. Look ahead on the map. Take paths that gives you multiple room options ahead. If a room only have one option, you're forced to grab that one, how good or bad it is. With 2+ options you can at least pick the lesser of two evils. Farm up relics. Don't expect a full run before you boost your honor/resistance to max. Get relics with movespeed. |
|
Just upgrade your character and you will be fine.
Now I prefer to farm ToS than mapping. |
|
Once you got 75% honor resistance from relics and any sort of lategame build that can fluidly clear T15 maps, the trial becomes a cakewalk. In theory one is supposed to dodge really well, but in practice one can get hit quite a lot.

" There are a couple of guides on youtube that help you navigate the rooms properly, you won't be able to run in blind and expect to clear it easily. Build-wise, damage is important, relics are important as well, more you play, more you get, more you understand the trial, better you get at it. Might be you need better gear/level/etc Learn what afflictions you can live with, what you cant. Naturally, path in a way that gets the least amount of those as you can. Dodge roll is your best friend through traps, or just don't walk into them. I also failed many times, takes some practice and learning, it gets easier, and more rewarding (for beating down the 4 trial boss) If you really don't like TOS, Trial of Chaos is an alternative to get your ascendencies. Many have preferences running that instead. Last edited by spaznaz#0311 on Jan 31, 2025, 7:33:04 AM
