Additional effects from quality using controller

Hi a friend is trying to figure out how to see the effects of gemcutters prism on skills using controller and seems to be unable to find where it lists it, could anyone assist? I use keyboard and tried to help closest i could get her is using right stick to pin skill info couldn't find a button to work similar to alt for the additional effects from quality despite trying like everything. Thanks in advance!!

It disappeared after the last update along with a lot of other controller actions. He probably can't see his character in the menu windows either, just a plain blue background. I wouldn't expect anything to be done about it for a long time TBH.
