How about bringing back Leaguestones for a while?
 To spice things up a bit for PoE 1 while we're waiting for a new league? Especially for mechanics that aren't available right now, like Tempest, Perandus, Darkshrines, Warbands and Invasion. Maybe we could also have some new ones for whatever mini-mechanic the devs always wanted to experiment with but wasn't strong enough to carry a full league? Or some based around things that have achievements but aren't in the game anymore, like a cutthroat stone just so that people can party up to check that one off their list if they want to. :) For newer players: Leaguestones were used during the Legacy challenge league to add previous league mechanics to a zone. Still have some'a those in the Standard Guild stash. I enjoyed being able to use them in the league, and always thought GGG missed a trick by not keeping them in the Core game. Of course, now we have all the bells and whistles in the Atlas, but that doesn't do anything for campaign play. ='[.]'=

I like this over my legacy thread as it seems much more achievable and will provide more variety than simply a legacy league.
