3.26 has to be MASSIVE

Hey,

As the Title says, to Bring me and probably many other Core Player back onto the sinking ship, the next Poe Expansion has to be absolutely Massive. Settlers has been great, but also didn't include too many new Builds. It's just too Long, dudes.
Poe is in a good State, but it is far from perfect. It needs a Lot of Attention and rebalancing as well

To get more Money Out of my Pocket, I'm expecting nothing less than :

- A massive Betrayal Rework
- A massive Heist Rework (as the last one did Heist even worse)
- A massive Endgame Rework, including new Core Bosses which reward Atlas Points.
- A massive Meta Shift (including new Gems, new Assendencies)
And Last but Not least
A massive League Mechanic similar to Settlers or Wildwood Levels.

...sounds like a Lot of Work for me.
The reason of this Post is that I hope you are aware of this and don't tell us you underestimated the Work Poe 1 needed.

A normal Expansion will not be enough to regain Reputation.

Betrayal rework = new NPC called Jon....? Just kidding, but yeah time for a new expansion. A fresh pinnacle Boss.

People don't see that new poe1 league is an excellent opportunity for ggg and it has to be near perfect. They of course could make random league with old mechanics or create below average league with half of the crew. But anyone can foresee that poe2 attracted so many newcomers those will definitely try poe1 when ggg release new league.

If they release old (and boring) or bad mechanics with new league, they would lost this opportunity because most people give only one chance to games. Adding wasd movement should be top priority also, which is not an easy feat.

I agree it has to be massive, but not for endgame content. They should focus on other aspects of the game like user friendliness.

I hope ggg sees poe1 future as I see. They could dominate genre if they will do right moves at the right time.

What are you guys talking about? POE1 is doomed now. If you're very lucky, you'll get a hastily cobbled together minimal league and that's it. The developers will now basically only work on POE2 and at most will quickly put together something for POE1 at the same time. Time to put the copium away and face the facts!

This. Unless 3.26 gets delayed until after PoE2 has both released and stabilized after the big release patch, the league they'll release is going to be below average. So either a year to year and a half wait, or a mediocre (or worse) league.

There is absolutely NO chance that a league released this summer/fall is going to be anything amazing.

To be fair it wouldn't even matter if it's amazing or not. Almost nobody will play POE1 at that point anymore anyway. After that message yesterday how many players to you expect to wait another 6-9 month for a maybe decent new league? No matter what they say I'm convinced that they killed POE1 on purpose so it couldn't outshine their new baby!
