PoE 2 will take at least 1-2 years to be good...

Basically deleting PoE 1 and players trust from existence was a grave mistake.

Right now I am not playing PoE1 and I am not playing PoE2 and I am not planning to play PoE2 in current system state (basically waiting for 2.0, not even 1.0).
Not sure what's the GGG strategy. Maybe they will deliver good PoE1 like experience in PoE2 .. in 2 years. Doubt I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Looks to me like a case of vastly overestimating the state of completeness of PoE2 before EA release.

It is EA after all. Complaining that game on EA is not complete is just silly.

It has nothing to do with how complete the game actually is, they literally admitted that the game was in much worse shape than what they expected before EA launch. Like, might I remind you, just about every single big PoE1 patch/league has been. You can't just "but it's EA so whatevs" that statement away, nor the fact that they have plenty, PLENTY of experience of launching suboptimal content that needs urgent day1/week1 fixes. |
