Current League vs new League question

Hey all, I have been looking, has anyone else seen information regarding the current league, vs new leagues in POE 2 getting updated content? Will the current league be given access to new classes, etc when they are released in a new league?

No ones knows. We can assume that new leagues, in PoE2 during EA at least, will probably only be some economy refresh on top of new content available to everyone. However, if there is some major system overhaul (e.g. something that bricks every old item), and if it's tied to new content in one way or another, it's possible that the "old league" will not get the new content. However, if they did that, that would create many incompatible "Legacy" Standard leagues, and I doubt they would as it's not as if the Standard league held any importance, balance and economy wise.

However, I think that so far, the idea was to release everything on the Early Access, with new leagues being some kind of economy reset following a major patch (e.g. 0.2.0), and every new league sending the previous' league characters to the Standard league, just like it's the case right now with PoE.

There's no point in creating ephemeral League content while the game is still in Early Access and missing actual, crucial content.
