Next-Gen Power, Last-Gen Performance! A Gamer’s low FPS Nightmare
Symphony of Silicon: The LG C1 OLED and the PS5 Pro.
Beneath the obsidian veil of the LG C1 OLED 65" tv, photons ignite in perfect synchrony with the PlayStation 5 Pro, an unholy fusion of cutting-edge engineering and raw, unrelenting power. The screen, a gateway of self-emissive perfection, caresses the ultra-high framerates with HDMI 2.1’s 48Gbps bandwidth, whispering promises of 4K at 120Hz with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). The PS5 Pro, the undisputed titan of console power, forges entire worlds with its advanced rendering techniques. Rays of light bend and scatter in real-time, traced by an engine of silicon precision, carving depth into digital landscapes with breathtaking realism. Shadows stretch and coil, no longer simple overlays but dynamic forms sculpted by simulated photons, moving with an eerie, lifelike grace. Every flicker of a flame, every glint of steel, is birthed from a machine designed to redefine immersion. The LG C1’s near-infinite contrast and 1ms response time transform these elements into a spectacle of pure visual poetry. Together, these twin titans of technology weave a seamless digital reality, each pulse of the DualSense controller resonating with the photons surging across the OLED abyss. And Yet… The Curse of the Unoptimized. And yet, in this golden age of silicon sorcery, where light bends to our will and computation borders the divine, I stand—cursed. Path of Exile 2, the labyrinthine jewel of isometric carnage, dares to defile this technological utopia with a frame rate so low, it mocks the very existence of high-performance gaming. 40 FPS. Sometimes lower. The LG C1, a deity of motion fluidity, is shackled to a stuttering nightmare, where every animation feels like trudging through digital sludge. The PS5 Pro, a machine engineered for the impossible, groans beneath the weight of archaic optimization, its hardware potential strangled by a game unfit for its throne. What was meant to be an odyssey of speed, precision, and unrelenting combat is instead a tale of dropped frames and rubber-banding frustration. And so, in the year 2025, the space age, where rockets kiss the void and self-driving cars navigate our streets, I sit, a man defeated, not by skill nor by challenge, but by the simple cruelty of low FPS. delicious to read. Thumbs up. But one sentence would have been enough. ggg is not able to optimize a game like this on consoles.
They don't even attach importance to German dubbing for the few sentences that are spoken there, let alone try to optimize their servers. In my opinion, ggg is the epitome of incompetence and indifference |

Yes they can optimize the game lol.... they even said in 2 videos that they will keep Poe2 updated just as much as PC, theres many ways to optimize the game and fix many bugs, the issue in itself is the servers they use and the game engine itself....... so saying they cant fix the game before the actual release to the masses is a bunch of bs you must be new to games Daniel... there's many ways they could make the game run better, but the thing is they shouldnt even released it for console in general if they are neglected the many end game issues now.... theyll neglect when full release... also this is a forum to report issues and problems you need to tell and report issues and bugs and complaints, thus the point of a forum lol....

The information provided on the PlayStation Store explicitly indicates that Path of Exile 2 is PS5 Pro Enhanced. This designation signifies that the game has been optimized...
This discrepancy between the PS5 Pro Enhanced label and the actual in-game performance is disappointing. However, It is evident that the developers of Path of Exile 2 have their hands full. For now, all we can do is hope that the developers ultimately come through, delivering the polished and seamless experience that Path of Exile 2 deserves.
