Question to ggg about dealing with the poe 1 community

I'll tell it like it is. If GGG completely neglects Poe 1 and puts everything on Poe 2, they will go under and lose 90% of all players. Poe 2 has already lost more than 50% of all players in the last 4 weeks according to Steam charts. The player base community of poe 1 is the one that has been there faithfully since the beta and finances GGG and makes everything possible.

why doesn't ggg continue to focus on poe 1 and treat poe 2 for what it is... a pre beta project which, in my opinion, is much, much worse than the first part, so that at least they don't scare off the entire poe 1 community..

What's so difficult and bad about it, not just resetting the settler league or starting one of the other older leagues as a transition until everything at GGG is sorted out again. That wouldn't be bad and everyone would be happy

first of all, it doesnt. and poe 2 is a new fad that will fade over time, everything ggg has to do to keep everyone happy while continuing to develop poe 2 until its actually in a decent state is resetting poe 1 leagues. It does not take any resources to do that, GGG is shitting in its own bed big time for no reason.

You mean why they bother with the game that even losing 50% of their player base still has 90% more online players than poe1? Idk I wonder why?
