AMD cpu computers freeze.
I've never played an ARPG game before. Thanks to a friend's suggestion and the videos I watched, I bought the game and liked it very much. But even though the game has been released for 2 months, it has become unplayable due to optimization problems that have not been resolved. The game has become unplayable for me now. The situation is no different from torture. You say you're working on this issue, but you're not showing players any light at the end of the tunnel. When will we be free from this torture?

I think they're going to need more detail about your system before they can address your issue, because I don't think the problem is Ryzen CPUs generally. I'm running a Ryzen CPU, and the game isn't freezing for me at all.
1. Have you created a bug report, and have you posted about that bug in the bug report forum? If not, then I recommend you do so. 2. Which AMD CPU do you have? Is it an X3D? Is it AM4 or AM5? 3. How much RAM do you have? What's the speed of that RAM? 4. What GPU are you running? Is it possible that it's your GPU and not your CPU that's the issue? 5. Are you using DirectX 12 or Vulkan? If you're experiencing crashes with one, have to tried the other one? 6. If it's DirectX 12 that you're using, have you tried adding the crash report command line option to your client as described in the 0.1.1b Patch Notes: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3707604 Help GGG help you, is what I'm getting at here. Stay sane, exiles!

What brand of PC you got? ASUS?
Go to your gaming pc app like MSI CREATOR or Armoury Crate or whatever and switch the GPU mode to standard or something like that. Find a settings where your GPU is at max and turn it down a scooch. Last edited by SacredChimes#1176 on Feb 1, 2025, 4:22:33 PM

" I had no problems in December either. I saw people having problems, but it never happened to me. I've been experiencing this problem constantly for the last 2 weeks. These are the components of my computer AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3,8GHz 35MB Cache Soket AM4 Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge 12 GB GDDR6 192 Bit Gigabyte B450 AORUS M AMD B450 3200MHz DDR4 Kingston Hyperx Predator 32GB (2x16GB) 3000MHz DDR4 Ram I started experiencing this problem with directx 12, then I switched to vulkan but there was no change. Sometimes, while trying to enter the game and most of the time while entering a map, my computer freezes during the loading screen, so I do not have the opportunity to submit a crash report. I can't do anything unless I reset my computer. I think the patch notes mention the game's own client. I'm playing on Steam. Or I just didn't understand :) |

" I checked via Gigabyte app center but I couldn't see any settings related to GPU. I think I need to check it in Bios settings. |
