GGG... do NOT use the same name on EXE files for POE 1 and POE 2!

Thought this was basic stuff for a developer to know. But obviously not. There are some major issues in POE 2 (and POE 1) just because of this. Some sofware from both windows and Nvidia are MIXING the two games and causing all sorts of problems if both are installed on the computer.

BOTH POE 1 and POE 2 execution files are named PathOfExileSteam.exe if players are using Steam for example.

FIX THIS and you might actually start to see some RELIABLE CRASH DATA.

Bump this need more attention...

It is my professional opinion that it is bad practice that both poe and poe2 have identical executable names. Poe2 executables, in all launchers, should have a '2' somewhere in the name of the executable to distinguish them from the first game.

GGG Devs, you are Software Engineers, reflect on best practices for executable naming and WHY they are that way, then you will understand how many related bugs can be fixed by this change. It's okay that a mistake happened, but it's past time to fix it don't you think?
