Let it be only hybrid Armour
Let all armor that provides only Armor and Evasion have Health, as well as items with an energy shield.

I haven't tried CI but it(non-CI/Mind over Matter) feels like 150~180% life nodes with STR bonus in PoE1 by default.
I guess it's basically "skip mandatory steps behind the Edit I feel the weight of STR and level more clearly in PoE2 in terms of health scaling. I feel life in "fluid" state rather than solid "HP". This feel is like a tanky warrior while making gigantic train of mobs. " I'm tanky. I live pretty well when my comrades around me fall from an accidental critical hit. But it only for now, on 10-12 rare maps. I can feel the force of the blows hitting me. And if they were 10-15% stronger, I would have died. At the same time, I don't see how I can get another third of HP without sacrificing other protection, that is, the effective HP will remain as it is. I'm sure there are one or two builds that give 10,000 hp, but I play with a selfmade build, have 90% armor, and almost 20% additional physical damage reduction, resistance over the cap, and still get very strong hits, but I have to go into melee on 16 red maps and take all the blows to the chest, and I do not know how my current 2200 hp should suddenly become, let's say, 4000 hp... The point of "melee" when we can use ranged weapons is a "training".
We as melee fighters "train" monsters. We let our trainees do whatever they want and learn how they should fight. Edit It's just "deadly". I know what you mean xD Edit2 Melee is not life insurance agency. Edit3 Let's say, there are 30 mobs in front of us (120 degree forward and same goes in both side). We cut deep in a direction and let them gather up toward us. This way, we only face mobs in one narrow path. This is where you explained the situation in detail. I know what you mean. Stampede/shield charge is a basic tool for cloud control. I know it's "really" busy playstyle basically for nothing if we don't count the damaging part of those skills. I think those movement/CC skills need some tweaks. Maybe it should be rather push back/aside skills than crashing/auto-bomber skills ? (We will have problems with collision detection.) P.S.
