Questline: The Trial of Corruption. Quest item: The Horn of the Vastiri.

I crashed after getting the quest item "The Horn of the Vastiri". After logging in after the patch update, I can't use the horn to clear the sandstorm.

The quest says "Use the Desert Map to return to the Sandstorm at the Halani Gates". Did that and started that part of the questline for a second time and defeated the end boss that escapes when he has low health, right before I can enter the sandstorm area.

I've tried to Respawn at the checkpoint in the sandstorm, but the NPC Sekhema Asala repeats the dialogue "Hold them back while I open the gate!" and "Make haste! He must not escape". Those 2 voice lines are what she says at the very start of the questline and after defeating the boss. She then runs back to the top of the sandstorm area at the stone wall where I run after her, she then says "Quickly! He conjures the very sands against us!" and runs back down to the checkpoint where I still can't use the horn.

You are supposed to use the horn from the front of the caravan. You don't use on the ground where you first chased Jamanra.

Walk out to the front of the caravan (while still aboard the caravan) behind Asala and you will be prompted to use the horn.

It is perhaps unintuitive when you are somewhat led to believe you'd need to return to where you were, but a lot less effort.

Thanx, that did it. Was pulling my hair out trying to figure out the error. Not a bug then, but a user error on my part due to a poor explanation in the quest log.
