What Chronomancer build are you using and are enjoying?

There are not many options on Maxroll and Moboanalytics and the forums are tough to keep up with to say what is actually viable.

I was thinking of using a Chronomancer as a freeze for bosses for my friend. Otherwise I'll just stick with my ROF.

I saw one build for this purpose but the gear was insane lol. I figured I would still level a Chronomancer to see what it is about anyways. Using a Hammer of the Gods build for leveling. Doesn't seem powerful and is slow, but still early levels.

So, all that to say, if you have really been enjoying a leveling build or an end game build I could aim for, please feel free to link it and maybe a small description of what you've liked so far.

This really feels like the Ascendancy that is not used the most.

what's your friends class?if he can take boss and mobs easily,may be you can choose to be a debuffer
use temporal chain + enfeeble with Blasphemy,carry some minion to take damage and deal some frost damage and lighting damage,use unearth to clear corpses,and freeze the boss i think is very enough..

None tbh. I used to enjoy cold chronomancer since spark/arc is just braindead. But it got nerfed like 2-3 times and I got enough of GGG nerfing this sh** over and over again. It's not like it's not working - it's just that it needs like 50-100 divs to even start with, which is ridiculous (oh and btw, ANY build with investments of hundreds of divs will work, even if you autoattack).

Just mindlessly go spark, or even better mindlessly go spark and stormweaver. Chrono and bunch of other spec is just D-tier not worth your time (got it?).

I want to try slow aura + temporal chain Blasphemy + hinder + maim + chill. Just for memes. Probably some chaos dot or melee damage.

He's a Monk that deals ice/lightning damage. He swaps between the two, but usually ice. His shatter actually messes up my ROF since I have no bodies to run on top of.

I'm using a slow+freeze chrono as a support for friends. With some chaos damage it can solo as well okayish. 2x14sec time freeze for bosses and 100% slow on white mobs. It's fun and definitely a multiplier if you are playing with friends since sceptres give huge bonuses and you can use a shield that gives yout blockchance to your allies.
Also using a unique glove you can share your rarity with everyone. I'm enjoying it immensely.

I see you mention this build is viable just not as fast as the normal meta builds, so you went through the campaign with that same Tree and skill set up?

I'm playing a framerate destroying, boss demolishing blink autobomber that doesn't use temporalis. Chronomancer's chance to not consume a cooldown and ability to reset it if necessary is just awesome.

Well yeah, you can level with this. I went mainly with essence drain+contagion although I tried out some stuff along the way. But honestly +spell level stuff and the curse+wither was enough to deal with the campaign. Bosses were a bit difficult tho or long. I also played with some friends at some time.
